Regional Networks

As well as acting globally, the ITD Alliance also encourages regional networks to strengthen networking among those working in the inter- and transdisciplinary space and to amplify regional voices on the global stage.

The first network to be established was the Oceania Regional Network, co-founded in collaboration with NITRO-Oceania (Network of Leaders of Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Research Organisations in the Oceania region) in 2024.

The Asia Regional Network was founded in March 2026 by the ITD Alliance. The ITD Alliance is grateful to institutional member Hong Kong Baptist University for providing secretariat services for the network.
