Information for presenters
Presentation rooms will be equipped only with an LCD projector and screen (or a big LCD TV screen). A Laptop will be provided in each room but presenters must bring a USB stick with their presentation. Additionally, ensure that you have your presentation saved on a backup USB stick and/or accessible online.
All presenters are kindly requested to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled session start time. As for all participants, please ensure you arrive promptly for each session, considering the time it takes to walk to your destination.
Workshops, presentations and posters exhibition
Workshops and Panel Sessions (organized by participants)
There will be no additional facilitator for your session. Please make sure your workshop or panel begins and ends on time. The rooms are arranged in cabaret style (with 5-6 chairs around tables). A flip chart, markers, pens and post its will be available in all rooms.
Due to the museum’s historical significance and the presence of valuable wallpaper, we kindly request that visitors refrain from attaching any items to the walls, such as post-its or tape. To address this issue, poster boards will be provided in each room as an alternative solution. Your cooperation in preserving the museum’s integrity is greatly appreciated. If you have other requirements or questions, please email to itd24@uu.nl.
Presentations
The presentations have been grouped into sessions of 60 or 90 minutes. The lead presenter of the final presentation in each session (as listed in the program) has been designated the Session Chair. The Session Chair will keep time throughout and will intervene and stop each presentation at the 10 minute mark, then have time for questions and change presenters after 15 minutes in total. Please assure that each presentation has the same amount of time.
Poster exhibition setup
The posters presented at ITD24 will be presented in two groups in the Expo on Tuesday and Wednesday. Poster presenters can pin up their poster from 11.00 and are requested to be present alongside their poster between 12.45 and 14.45 to provide context. This is during and after our lunch break, so please pop by while having or digesting lunch!
Besides that, all posters will be presented in our online environment, where you can comment and exchange thought below every poster as well.
